Chicken wings also happen to be the least expensive cut for us, our kids love them, they are FANTASTIC to serve as finger food at gatherings (like potlucks & par-tays) – not to mention, DELICIOUS!

Rumor: You need to batter and fry chicken wings in order to get a crispy shell.

Fact: That rumor is a lie.

We perfected a method for oven-baked chicken wings when writing Real Life Paleo, and in light of it being Super Bowl weekend, thought it would make for perfect timing to share this household favorite. We seriously make them all. the. time. Like, for example, on Friday nights with waffles. That’s right, your Chicken & Waffle night just got a whole lot BETTER!

We have found the method below to be the best for making crispy chicken wings in the oven. You will find oodles of preparation recommendations out there, but we can tell you with absolute certainty that is the ONE to try. Even our non-paleo friends and family ask us to bring these wings to events. They’re THAT good.

Baking at a high temperature for a long time is the key, and a guaranteed way to avoid those gross chewy, soft chicken wings. You might wanna clean your oven first. And as always, they won’t be done until the smoke alarm goes off! ♥
