We have found the method below to be the best for making crispy chicken wings in the oven. You will find oodles of preparation recommendations out there, but we can tell you with absolute certainty that is the ONE to try. Even our non-paleo friends and family ask us to bring these wings to events. They’re THAT good.

Baking at a high temperature for a long time is the key, and a guaranteed way to avoid those gross chewy, soft chicken wings. You might wanna clean your oven first. And as always, they won’t be done until the smoke alarm goes off! ♥

Have y’all tried the baking powder trick? I’ve used it the last 2 times I’ve made baked wings and they’re AMAZING!!!! I believe it’s a J. Kenji Lopez-Alt thing (that guy…). But I use this recipe: http://www.recipetineats.com/crispy-oven-baked-chicken-wings-honey-garlic-sauce/ The 3 secrets: get them really dry, coat them with baking powder, and bake them low at first to get that collagen breakdown going, then crank it up to get the crispyness. So good.
