Paleo-friendly chocolate, just in time for Valentine’s day! Plus, a look at our week:

This is what progress looks like! Would you believe that just a couple weeks ago I couldn’t even bend over?! Thanks to an anti-inflammatory AIP diet, paired with getting the right medical treatment, stretching, doing handstands and inverting on the hanging rings in our home gym, this lady is mobile once again! And it feels soooo good!

Know what else is good for healing? Snuggles with all my boys – fur-babies included! Family time watching movies and playing games has been great for my adrenal recovery. One of our favorite family games (that even our youngest can participate in) is Blockus! And there are always giggles and smiles whenever we play it.

Cole is also continuing to do well! He’s close to wrapping up wrestling season, and I think we’ll all miss our family meals together celebrating his efforts afterwords! Last week he chose Elevation Burger. We wrote all about this burger joint in this post, including why we love it and what we each order! Of course, the fact that the comic book store and gluten-free bakery are in walking distance is also a reason to love it!

It’s not always burgers and fries though. Meat and vegetables is where the real healing happens! I find it easiest to get lots of veggies in at lunch, simply by packing leftovers and a salad.
