To be honest, I get weird celebrating “me” when really it’s all of you. So thank you again for trusting and supporting me in this new journey with Shaklee! It’s just the beginning in our new mission to improve the health and well-being for future generations.
The whole experience really pushed me out of my introvert comfort zone!
However, it was worth it because of the people there- we all have so much we can learn from each other! My goal is always to listen and learn, so I can be better and grow as a person and a leader.
I’ve had the fortune to work with a lot of smart, successful leaders. Before being my own boss, I sat in executive board rooms and Federal conference rooms with some of the most brilliant minds. I negotiated multi-million dollar contracts with the most powerful people at big Fortune 500 companies.
But never have a I met anyone like the Barnetts who own Shaklee.
Roger is brilliant and works hard, yes. But he is the most humble and classy human. I truly desire to be a better person in his presence; he is patient, listens, and wants to help others for a genuine and sincere place, and his wife Sloan is the most warm and kind hostess and businesswoman. With Roger’s passion to help people and his investment into a science-baked and clinically-proven product, we are NOT your grandma’s Shaklee anymore!
And…they really do use truly use, believe in, and stand behind their products!
It wouldn’t be a trip to Miami without a little water!
We also were gifted a gloriously beautiful day on the water off the beaches of Miami. We were truly being treated like royalty. And what’s interesting is that Roger says that he truly sees us as part of the Shaklee family – and you share your home and boat and days with family.
Roger’s boat (yacht, really!) took us on a leisurely sight-seeing cruise in the bay to lunch. I enjoyed a passionfruit mocktail mojito with some of the best landscape and people watching. What a special experience!
I’ve said it before, but…
I wouldn’t have chosen this and what happened with Beautycounter, but I’m so grateful for being shown the truth in action* and making lemonade from lemons with Shaklee and the incredible team and customers I have!
*what I mean: people can tell you a lot of things but what do they show you?
What a way to celebrate nearly a year with Shaklee. Thank you for trusting me, supporting my small woman-owned business, and for being here for it all. I am continuing to listen and learn to serve you better. Here’s to many more wonderful years together!
