EASTER ACTIVITIES
It wouldn’t be Easter without coloring some eggs, and Mommypotamus has an awesome post on how to dye easter eggs naturally with everyday ingredients.
Sure you can easily coordinate an easter egg hunt, but what about using those inexpensive eggs for some Montessori activities? Here is a fun post from Gift of Curiosity with a number of great Easter activities to engage the young ones!
For the older kids, impress them with some egg-themed science experiments! iGameMom has a great list of eight egg experiments sure to catch the attention of your older kids.
And for the adults, how about a giant game of Ker-Plunk featuring those plastic eggs?! Ok, this one is for the DIY-ers out there, but is a really cool idea!
Fill those Easter baskets with fun little gifts, and easily avoid the junk food and sugar crashes! 100 Days of Real Food has a great post filled with ideas on what to stuff Easter baskets with, while avoiding the unhealthy eats. She also has a candy-free tutorial video here, and be sure to also check out her post on natural easter egg dyes.
