The leaves are changing color, and we’re breaking out the boots and getting ready to pick baskets full of apples, in this week’s newsletter!

I had an incredible birthday celebration last weekend! Matt and I took a little road trip (sans kiddos!) to an Adele concert, where we had incredible seats and I had the time of my life!

This was sandwiched in between an outstanding dinner with my love at Morimoto and Thai ice creams rolls as my birthday “cake.” Best. Night. Ever.

We arrived home on Sunday to have my continued birthday celebration with the boys… pajamas all day, Harry Potter marathon, and avocado deviled eggs for movie snacks (on one of my favorite birthday gifts ever- a hand-painted deviled egg tray made by the boys!). It was the perfect way to bring in my 35th year!

The leaves are changing color- which means it’s boots and leggings…. and APPLE SEASON! This apple slicer is perfect for the boys to use for making quick work of an apple at snack time. It also makes cutting up a lot of apples for apple crisp or homemade apple sauce a breeze. We are heading to our favorite u-pick farm this weekend to load up on local apples- can’t wait!
