One of the keys to successful parenting, and especially family Paleo living, is adequate preparation. Most chaotic moments are able to be mitigated with whatever tools you need, ready and available. I find our best days are had when our trunk is full of water cups, snacks, extra clothes, toys, books, etc.
This week we’re preparing for school lunches, snacks, and more with a few drool worthy recipes from my arsenal of Paleo food bloggers. Matt has now made and we have tested for recommendation:
- Elana’s Pantry – Thai Vegetable Soup (um. nom. yum. great lunch food!)
- Joyful Abode – Grain-Free Granola Bars (love that she’s gone grain-free and delivering such deliciousness)
- LeanMachineNYC – Totally Awesome Chocolate Balls (awesome but not quite “chocolate”)
- Gluten Free Easily – Coffee Ice Cream (very creamy, will be awesome on brownies below)
Later this week we’re trying:
Be jealous, my friends, be very jealous. Gluten couldn’t stand a chance! So much easier to convince the kids to eat healthy with prepared Paleo goodies on hand!
