Well Fed Giveaway!

The winner was CLF222. Congratulations!

A little while back we posted our review of Well Fed. Spoiler: we loved it!

Since that time we’ve made more recipes and loved every one! We even made a meal from Well Fed for Stacy’s mom on Christmas Eve! Presenting the delicious and hearty Cinnamon Beef Stew with Orange Gremolata served on Cauliflower Rice Pilaf!

It was completely spectacular and filling. Who knew cinnamon would so lovely enhance a beef stew? And the orange adds a great bright touch. The rice pilaf was also terrific, causing Finn to keep going back until we ran out!

When we told Melissa how much we loved and wanted to recommend this book, she offered us the opportunity to give one away to you all!  We wanted to wait until the New Year since it features tons of Whole 30 or a 21 Day Sugar Detox friendly recipes for whatever goals, resolutions or clean eating you may be participating in.

As we said in our review, you’ll love the explorations of spices and new flavors. It’s a completely different book than any other on the market right now. This book is sincerely a wonderful tool in that arsenal.

If you’re interested in getting yourself a free ebook of Well Fed here’s how you can enter:

  1. Comment with a recipe you want to make from either the free preview of Well Fed or the entire site of The Clothes Make the Girl
  2. Comment with a photo of a recipe you have made from the book of the site
  3. Comment if you are a  NEW Melicious11 or PaleoParents Twitter follower or Facebook fan of either The Clothes Make the Girl or Paleo Parents
  4. Comment if you already do follow & like us and have shared, retweeted or otherwise helped spread the word about Well Fed and this post

You can enter a bunch of times, just make sure each comment specifies which of the steps above it “matches.” We’ll be closing the contest on January 11th at 10 PM EST! Those who commented already on our review post will get extra entries into this giveaway. Thanks, good luck & enjoy cooking!

Hi there!  I love your website and already follow you!  The Well fed cookbook looks amazing and since I have a butternut squash, which I have never cooked before, sitting in my fridge, I’m going to make that one TODAY!  I downloaded the free ebook and so appreciate having such an awesome sampling and so MUCH more.  I shared your post on the Tim Ferris 4-Hour Body facebook group since a lot of us are doing the Whole30 together! I just started Paleo in the fall but have been eating close to Paleo for a year (I had been eating legumes).  I felt great eating Paleo like with the legumes but even better without them, which surprised me (for example, my Reynaud’s syndrome is practically gone!).

This is my first time to your site and I am excited to look around! I foudn it via Gluten Free Easily, for the contest for the book Well Fed…which sounds AWESOME! I downloaded the free ebook sampler to check it out…as i’ve been looking for paleo/primal recipes to start on that journey. I saw a lot that looked good…a lot that have interesting ingredients i’ve never tried before. One I’d like to try…the Jicama ‘potatoe’ salad. I’ve always seen jicama at our local grocery, but have never tried it. Probably since I never knew how..what it tasted like, where it came from…ha ha ha! This book would give me the chance to try it out and many others. Please enter me in the giveaway…I’d love to try them!

I made her Moroccan Meatballs for New Year’s Eve (we always make finger foods that night – the kids love that tradition).  The picture here doesn’t show the sauce, because we ate it all!  This was soooo good.  I encourage anyone to try it.  I fried up the little meatballs, since my oven was busy.  I would not do that again!  Baking would be so much easier.
