    Stacy, what was the thing you mentioned before matcha toward the end of the show? Something about grown-up hot cocoa without caffeine? I’m curious to know what it is. Is it a specific brand? Or how do you make it?

    I just wanted to mention briefly in defence of the author, who’s book suggested canola oil and diet coke. The other day I listened to another podcast from *I think* LLVLC (and been searching for it for an hour to re-listen to it) and they were talking about how it was the publisher who put that in because they felt it was right, NOT the author, and the author learned about it when the book came out and was planning to do a rewrite about it. Perhaps I’m confusing books and authors but I clearly remember them discussing that a book that was written that put out a recommendation including diet coke and vegetable oil, and it was not the writer’s intention. I don’t know more than that because I cannot find the podcast. Again they could have been referring to something else but sounds awfully familiar to what was mentioned in this podcast. Not a jab, just wanted to share something. That aside – I love TPV and listen frequently and learn so much – thank you. Lisa from Canada.

    • Yes, that’s correct. We’ve talked about that on other podcasts and in-person events. That’s why Victory Belt (our publisher) became THE paleo publisher because it was the first and only (for many years) publisher willing to give authors complete control and say drastic things like no grains 🙂
