Our Real Life

It was the perfect day. Perfect tree. Perfect family. I love this annual tradition of supporting local farmers! Ready or not, here comes the holidays!

This year we have TWO trees. A mini-one in the basement for the boys – filled with their star trek and toy ornaments. And my first ever (since having kids) adult-only tree upstairs. I decorated it whimsically with glittering pine cone garland, owls, and a Harry Potter sorting hat – because magic is what everyone needs at the holidays! Honestly, would you expect anything else from us?!

There’s always a little more travel around the holidays, which means we’re stocking up on plenty of healthy snacks for on-the-go!
